On Wednesday 19th May, the students at St Joseph's were treated to a workshop with Andrew Chinn, a teacher and singer/songwriter of Australian religious music. Many of his songs feature in our Masses and Liturgies and it was such a thrill to have him at our school, in the flesh. In the morning he workshoped with the Prep -2's, then the Grade 3/4's. Following recess he worked with the 5/6 students and by the looks on their faces and the comments being made, everyone had an absolute ball! In the afternoon we gathered together as a whole school and enjoyed a concert, getting to see the songs performed by each year level. It was a fantastic day full of many many laughs and plenty of smiles.
